Segregated Bulk Storage

Mild steel and stainless tanks fully segregated by product grade — ~50,000 MT total capacity at the Shimanzi site.

Heated Storage

Steam-coil tanks held at product-specific temperatures for palm stearin, tallow, bitumen and other heat-sensitive cargoes.

Ship-to-Shore Pipelines

Direct pipeline connections from Kipevu Oil Terminal and Shimanzi berths into a multi-product manifold — no road handling between berth and tank.

Road Tanker Loading

Multi-bay loading gantry with bottom-loading arms, mass-flow meters and KEBS-stamped seals — calibrated, sealed and documented.

Customs Bonded Warehouse

Licensed CBW for in-transit cargo to Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and Eastern DRC — full KRA bond management.

Laboratory & Quality

In-house lab for moisture, FFA, IV, peroxide, colour and density — every parcel, on receipt, in storage and at dispatch.

HSE & Fire Response

24/7 manned fire station, foam-monitor coverage on every tank bund, trained spill-response crews and full PPE compliance.

Sustainability

Vapor recovery, closed-loop water reuse, continuous emissions monitoring and zero-discharge effluent handling.

Operations workflow

From berth to bond seal, in six steps.

Every parcel is tracked at each handoff. Surveyors witness gauges. Lab certifies. Operations dispatch. Bonded paperwork follows the cargo to its inland destination.

    Vessel discharge

    Pipeline transfer from berth, surveyor-witnessed opening gauge.

    Receipt sampling

    Independent + EATL lab. Parcel only enters tank on certificate.

    Allocation

    Tank selected by grade, heating regime and customer instruction.

    Heating & turnover

    Held at product temperature; periodic recirculation as required.

    Dispatch

    Loading by appointment, bottom-loaded, sealed and documented.

    Between parcels — full clean to product-change standard.
