Who we are
Bulk storage for the raw materials that feed a region.
Our core business is bulk storage for the raw materials behind cooking oils, fats and laundry bar soaps. Incorporated in Kenya in October 2011, EATL is part of the Hayel Saeed Anam (HSA) Group — a multi-national recognised globally for discerning investments and efficient manufacturing — and is affiliated to Pacific Inter-Link (PIL), Kuala Lumpur.
Sitting on Kismayu Road, Shimanzi, the terminal is a short pipeline run from the Kipevu Oil Terminal — Africa's largest offshore oil island — giving customers the shortest, cleanest path from vessel to tank in Mombasa.
Vision
Informed at all times by a philosophy of trust, integrity and respect for our customers, partners and supporters.
Mission
To provide high-quality products and services that always exceed customer expectations.
Going Further
Our industrial facilities use the most up-to-date technology; our distribution networks use cutting-edge logistics management.
Capabilities
Everything the cargo touches, we manage.
Segregated Bulk Storage
Mild steel and stainless tanks fully segregated by product grade — palm oil, palm olein, RBD oils, tallow, fatty acids and more.
Ship-to-Shore Discharge
Dedicated multi-product pipelines from Kipevu Oil Terminal and Shimanzi berths into our manifold — no road handling between berth and tank.
Heated Storage
Steam-coil tanks held at product-specific temperatures for palm stearin, tallow, bitumen and other heat-sensitive cargoes.
Quality Laboratory
In-house lab testing FFA, moisture, IV, peroxide, colour and density on every parcel — receipt, in-storage and dispatch.
Road Tanker Loading
Multi-bay loading gantry with mass-flow meters and bottom-loading arms — calibrated and KEBS-stamped.
Customs Bonded Warehouse
Licensed CBW for transit cargo destined for Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and Eastern DRC.
HSE & Fire Response
ISO 9001, Responsible Care signatory, 24/7 foam-monitor fire station, on-site spill response and trained crew.
Environmental Stewardship
Vapor recovery, closed-loop water reuse, continuous emissions monitoring and zero-discharge effluent handling.

Industries we serve
Behind every bottle, bar and tin on the shelf.
EATL handles the raw liquids that go on to become cooking oils, margarines, laundry bars, detergents and food ingredients sold across East and Central Africa.
How a cargo moves
Vessel to inland market, in six measured steps.
Every parcel is tracked, sampled and signed off at each handoff — auditable from the bill of lading to the truck waybill.
- STEP 01Vessel nomination
Pre-arrival paperwork, KPA berthing slot, KRA bond clearance.
- STEP 02Ship-to-shore discharge
Direct pipeline transfer from Kipevu / Shimanzi to dedicated manifold.
- STEP 03Quality at receipt
Independent surveyor + EATL lab sample every parcel before tank allocation.
- STEP 04Segregated storage
Product held in a tank dedicated to its grade, heated or ambient as specified.
- STEP 05Calibrated loading
Bottom-loading gantry with mass-flow metering, sealed trucks, full paperwork.
- STEP 06Inland dispatch
Onward movement to Kenya inland markets or to Northern Corridor transit destinations.
Regional reach
Mombasa is the gateway. We are the first stop.
From our berth on Kismayu Road we feed the Northern Corridor — the trade artery that carries imports from the coast into Kenya's interior and onward into landlocked East and Central Africa.
